CRIBBAGE IS FOR EVERYONE
I began playing cribbage as a young boy. My dad taught me, and we used to play on Sundays after church while we watched football. I didn't play much as I got older. Too busy with other things. Then when my wife and I were first married, I taught her to play because it was a cheap way to spend an evening!!
I was recently reintroduced to the game when I saw an article in the The Chronicle featuring the Chehalis-Centralia Cribbage Club. The club sponsors weekly lessons on Tuesdays at 6:30pm at the Chehalis Moose Lodge. Classes are taught by our fearless leader, George "Ras" Rasmussen--one of the highest rated players on the planet!!!! The club also hosts a weekly tournament every Thursday evening at 6:30pm, also at the Moose. Everyone is welcome! I am living proof that no minimum skill level is required!
