Cherub & Angel - A Proud moment to cherish! 1st place Dam & Daughter, 2005 ADGA National Show.
Cherub and Angel have crossed the rainbow bridge. While these exceptional does are no longer living with us their legacy lives on through offspring. I am saddened by their loss-they are forever out on green pasture with browse around the edges and warm sun on their backs. |

GCH ROCKY-RUN ROGUE'S CUPID 6*M
Cupid is the only direct Cherub Daughter remaining in the herd. She is most like her dam in mammary with the wide arched rear and great total area of support. Cupid always catches the Judges eye.

GCH ROCKY-RUN MIC'S SERAPHIM 7*M
Seraphim, just keeps looking better! She till outpaces the rest of the herd in milk. Seraphim is just an all around good asset.

ROCKY-RUN GBMT MERCY 8*M
Mercy was another one of the does affected by conjunctivitis. Fortunately she bounced back enough in production to earn her *M. I certainly hope she lives up to her production potential this next year.

ROCKY-RUN GBMT WHIMSY
Well Whimsy is still a very immature looking 2 year old—she is long, lean and meets or exceeds in the tall department of many of the older does. Unfortunately our neighbor’s Hereford cattle brought a nasty pink-eye virus home from the spring youth fair. Sharing a common fence several does in the herd came down with conjunctivitis. Whimsy’s was one of the worse cases. She never did recover well enough to get her production back.

GCH ROCKY-RUN F CONFECTION 6*M
WOW! Soon to be 6, Coni, hasn’t changed a bit in the past two years. She is just a steady all business Dairy doe. A steady dependable producer she is doing her part to support the herd.

ROCKY-RUN ET’S SILHOUETTE 10*M
‘Silly’ is a HUGE almost raw boned doe with a lovely mammary. Silly is so mellow and EZ going---considering her size that is a good thing! Due in January I plan to retain her first doe kid.
Click here for more information on Silly.

 |
GCH ROCKY-RUN R SCARCE COMODITY 9*M
Scarce---so named because of the shortage of Doe kids the year she was born. Scarce is proving to be a good brood doe with two lovely milking daughters in the herd.
Scarce is my good show buddy’s favorite doe to show when we help each other-that is Lisa (YBNVS French Alpines) posing the goats in most of the photos. Good job Lisa!

GCH ROCKY-RUN MIC’S SASCHET 10*M
Saschet has matured wonderfully from last year to this! More body, mammary and milk she just got it all together. Saschet traveled to Idaho and Oregon for the two club shows I attended with good friend Lisa. Winning 5 GCH and 3 BOB the judges liked her too.

ROCKY-RUN MIC'S SHADOW 10*M
Shadow did the limited show circuit this year. She placed first most shows. It may take another year for her to come into her own but she is built to last.

GCH ROCKY-RUN ROGUE'S SPARKLE 10*M
Sparkle kidded normally this year (2008) with big twins. After the early delivery last year I was concerned she would not have live offspring again. Her 2008 buck kid is working for Cindy Eslava in Indiana. I retained her lovely doe kid, named Stunning, for myself.

 |
ROCKY-RUN ET’S TWINKLE 11*M
‘Twink’ is another HUGE doe sired by ET. She is much smoother then her half-sister, Silly, and with the same well attached udder.

ROCKY-RUN SHE’S A DILLY
Dilly is a very correct doe. I am disappointed in her production as a first freshening doe. I expect with life being more normal for her next kidding she will live up to expectations.

*B ROCKY-RUN GBMT ISAIAH
Isaiah is a large yearling buck with lots of bone. I am very pleased with his short strong pasterns, excellent rear leg angulation and correct front end.

ROCKY-RUN WAY X-CEP-SHUN-L
Pictured as a kid. X-cep has grown into a pretty yearling—lovely head, sharp withers and an escutcheon to die for! I used him sparingly last fall, only getting some buck kids. His one doe kid from an outside breeding is nice. X-cep saw lots of action this fall so I hope to see lots of nice kids spring of 2009.
