For a big girl, I think I do quite well with my body image most of the time, that is...until I joined an aerobics class.

That Creepy Feeling

Ever get the feeling something is creeping up behind ya?

... My purple outfit eventually faded. They spandex lost its spank, the Lycra tights lost their tight and the beautiful flowers faded into a wintry looking pink.  But beware!  We never know what danger lurks within the racks of the K-Marche'...

Some days I get up and think, "...I should just go back to bed."  But Dr. Laura fan that I am, I just go on out and...take on the day!  

Gas on, Brain Off!

I have to admit my biggest concern was the car window.  In destruction derby driving, one does not use car doors to enter the car....   To enter the car with the doors welded shut, one is required to climb up on the windowsill, and slither into the car interior like a lithe and willowy snake.

Did I mention I am not lithe and willowy? What I am, I suppose, is a bit gullible.

Boomer Blues

Everywhere I turn, I find brief articles and harsh diatribes that turn important subjects into product reviews and opinion pieces. What was wrong with these writers? Don't they understand who are their customers, their readers? 

Then it dawned on me...these places I was visiting on the internet were not aimed at my age group.  For the first time in my life, Boomers were passé...
